As the adrenaline subsides from booking the last stand at Passenger Terminal Expo 2019 and getting a stand designed in record time, we can take stock of a successful exhibition.
After a hiatus of several years from exhibiting, we took the decision to exhibit at a limited number of high quality exhibitions on a more regular basis. Passenger Terminal has grown to be the “must attend” event that we could not afford to miss.
We were able to introduce our company and our solutions to new prospects as well as answer questions from attendees that specifically sought us out.
Ink’s mobile passenger processing is at the forefront of Remote Baggage and we will continue to focus more on that part of our portfolio.
Biometrics
We are currently working on adding seamless walkthrough Biometrics to our entire passenger journey. On our Biometrics partner’s stand, Shawn was able to test first hand and witness the performance and accuracy benefits of training AI extensively with diverse, non-biased facial data.
We were able to see first hand what our competitors brought to market and where our product line fits in the overall landscape of technology available today and in the near future.
Our conviction about focusing on the customer journey with minimal form factor hardware was reaffirmed; as was our determination to keep our technology affordable.
QuickTag Launch
In amongst the products on offer, our central themes of maintaining affordability while introducing innovation continues to set us apart. The launch of our low-cost QuickTag was of particular interest. Companies that choose to adopt this self service unit expect to see a major efficiency increase of LCC bag drop.
Several of the visitors showed keen interest in using this new product to breathe new life into 2-step Bag Drop. Two companies from the exhibition have already agreed to participate in pilots.
New Relationships
We will continue to reach out to the many visitors to our stand in an effort to cultivate long term, mutually beneficial relationships. And look forward to returning to Passenger Terminal Expo 2020 in Paris.
